The man pictured in the first picture was the first person signed in on Tuesday morning, August 2, 2017 for the first warehouse mobile of the new warehouse of With God’s Grace at 622 Springfield St. in Dayton. During the day, over 415 families and about 135 dogs received food. Of the people who came in, almost 130 families were helped by WGG for the first time. In all over 1400 people received food. It was a busy but successful day of two segments from about 10:40 a.m. until about 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. In the late morning and early afternoon, a team from Fox 45/22 News covered the day by shooting video of volunteers helping pass along food to families. The news team also interviewed WGG Executive Director, Nicole Adkins, volunteers, and food recipients. Later in the evening, a team from Fox 45/22 stopped by the warehouse for a live segment of their evening newscast. Among the items available to families included chips, meat, breakfast food, soups, juices, as well as fruits and vegetables.
